“ Your Organs Can Save Other Lives”

Media Workshop on Organ Donation and Transplantation aiming to raise awareness on organ transplantation and donation was held on 20-22th June 2018 at Istanbul Radisson Blu Hotel on the scope of the International Transplant Network ITN. 60 journalists from 30 countries participated in the workshop.

On the first day; journalists visited hospitals, collected information on organ donation and transplantation; participants visited organ transplantation centers as well.

On the second day; TONV Board Member Ata Bozoklar, Turkish Journalist Association Secretary General Sibel Güneş, Prof. Dr. Murat Dayangaç from Medipol University Hospital, Prof. Dr. Kamil Yalçın Polat from Memorial Ataşehir Hospital, Sabah Newspaper Health Editor Didem Seymen, ONKOD Chairman Yavuz Selim Çınar, TRT Haber Reporter Fatma Demir Turgut, Hürriyet Newspaper Editor Mesude Erşan, Gunseli Bayraktutan from Giresun University Tirebolu Communication Faculty, Deniz Sezgin from Ankara University Communication Faculty, CNN Türk Editor in Chief Ferhat Boratav, NTV Antalya Reporter Sibel Atasoy, Hürriyet Newspaper Columnist Deniz Zeyrek, Zeynep Burcu Akbaba from Uludağ University, Prof. Dr. Ömer Özkan from Akdeniz University and NTV Health Editor made speeches on their specialization areas.
